Finally, the wait is almost over! Spartan Fighting Championship 11 is this Friday, January 13th, 2012.
This is easily our biggest card to date and we have so many ways to catch all the action! If you haven't purchased tickets yet, you can still get them online or over the phone on the toll free Spartan Hotline, (866)816-4732.
If you can't make it to the show, we will be featuring the event on GoFightLive.tv for the second time. In addition, if you want to see the stream and test the functionality you can do so on our Facebook page, our website, or on GFL.tv for a short period for free.
The card, if you've not seen it yet, features come of the country's best upcoming fighters. We have three professional fights scheduled for this event. Jason Butcher will be onhand to try and extend his unbeaten streak against Jared Combs. Cornelius Godfrey will be doing the same against Thomas Campbell. That fight will be for the SFC 135lb Professional Title. Finally, in a professional debut fight, Jesus Contreras will be fighting Zack Oden.
On the amateur fight card. crowd favorite Donta Wade will be making an appearance against Roger Minton. Donta is an amazing fighter and should have a challenge on his hands in Roger Minton. SFC veteran David West will be fighting, perhaps, his most challenging opponent to date Michael Seals. Seals is commonly referred to as pound per pound the best amateur mma fighter in Kentucky right now. For West, this could be a huge win if he can pull it off. This is Seals first SFC fight, but the winner will walk out with the SFC Amateur 170lb title.
Another SFC veteran Chris Brown steps up against James Williams in the 205lb amateur title fight. Also in action, Eric Jarvis squares off against Augusta Tindall. Jarvis has fought in several SFC events, in fact he fought in SFC 1, so it's fitting he kicks of 2012 with Spartan Fighting.
